Just becasue I'm an engineer, I cannot miss IELTS as it is the most critical examination now a days to get any worthwhile course abroad. Even for a good employment.
I was on the lookout for some practical study material for my preparations. I came across a lot of crap, real crap. Normal grammar books, CDs!
Many of them offering the carrot on internet in the form of free tests etc. If you get into the crap, you eat crap and then they ask for money for the wholesale of crap.
Last time when I was in Kerala, I got this confidential information from an institute in Kozhikode(Mallu name for Calicut.). They recommend all male students a product called Learn English through Kama Sutra and all female students a product called Sharpen Your English through Love & Romance.
I didn't believe first, but later went with one of the students to his room to get a good look at the product Learn English through Kama Sutra.
I can sum up the product like this. English upto GRE level explained through sex and Kama Sutra. From basic tenses to vocabulary builder. Good presentation. Wonderful interface. The product is interactive. It will improve reading, writing, listening and then definitely the speaking skills. 700 hours of study material at the price of a dinner(something around 1100 to 1400 Rs.)
I searched on google and got very good revies and bought two products on the internet. Not the spicey ones. Just visit their site espoirtech.com
I bought Success Secrets and Movies version and the preparation for IELTS is going on well. I think there are no other products as effective as these for IELTS preparation.
