I was employed by smc global securities in 2011, I worked there till 2013, I was in commodity trading, firstly they do not have a very specified way of recruitment, they can hire MBA as well as under graduates for the same post, my designation was of trading operator executive.
They offer nominal salary to the freshers, I joined at 8 K, there is no specific provision for increment, no policies for this, at the time of joining they ask you too fill a 3 years duration of bond to build a psychological pressure upon you to not leave the job before 3 years.
Our office timing was 10 to 5, every morning each operator had to submit their mobile phones on the reception, you are not allowed to take mobile phone inside the cabins, you have to do lunch on your table only there is no separate cafeteria or lunch table there.they are working on same old software, there is no growth opportunities you are confined to a shell till you are there.my boss was very rude there, also there is nothing new you can learn there.
They do provide diwali bonus and incentives, but life there is felt like of bonded laborers.( for trading operators, for rest I am not sure)
