We have been hearing that e- commerce has made our life simpler but it is very unfortunate that this has not been the case with me while doing on line shopping with Rediff.Com.
One umbrella I ordered on line much to my surprise on opening the shipment , I found the umbrella cloth bearing small holes. Any way ,I returned and I got the refund.
Now the much worse experience that I am undergoing with Rediff . com is that I ordered one number mouse (hardware of computer) in March 06 with warranty clearly stated one year on web site . Now that the part is not functioning , I was told to return the goods which I did last month and they promised to refund the amount. On receiving my material. they have backed out of their promise saying their guarantee is only for 15 days much to my shock now . Neither have they exchanged my goods with a new one nor they have refunded the money. They sent me the mail saying they are sending the same defective goods back.
A message to everyone from my experience is that Rediff .com is not a dependable site to shop on line.
