When I got to know about this card it was new to me and I was really excited to get it. Me and my family are frequent travelers and we often need to book railway tickets online.
This credit card can be used as normally as any other credit card but the best part is that when you book a railway ticket from this card you would not be charged for Online transaction charges which is being charged everytime you book a ticket from irctc website through any payment gateway be it debit/credit card or net banking. So you always save Rs.10 - Rs.12 on every transaction on irctc for all classes for anyone you book the ticket.
Moreover, SBI tie-ups with different departmental store like Reliance Fresh/Reliance Digital etc gives an opportunity to earn cashbacks every month. I have got a good lump sum amount as cash back through these stores.
Not only this but the Card Holder gets 10% of discount if he/she is booking a ticket for self in IIAC or above.
Limitation: The discount only applicable for self and not for the family members since this card comes with an unique IRCTC number.
Lots of savings is done and lot many to come.
