One of the biggest mistakes I made in my life was to accept to use a Ge Money Cash Card. It is indeed terrible. Here goes my story.

I have been using it for a year and am paying atleast the bare
minimum regularly. Around 6 months back they flashed an adver about online account management.

A couple of months back I had lost my username, hence I
opted to go through “Forgot Password Option” on their website. Despite of
numerous tries I was not helped with the password. The Username and password was supposed to be sent by email, which has yet not been done. I called their customer Service
several times without any luck.  Eventually Hemant an agent there helped me with theGE Money

/>login details. I sent an appreciation mail for Hemant. After some
days I was again not able to login. I remembered and verified my password with the CS without any luck. One
of their agent asked me to change the password by going into the forgot password
option. The nightmare repeated. I am still left without online access. In
addition to this I made a blunder of opting for paperless statements. I have
not received any statement and have lost track of everything that is happening
with my card. Due to this some of my payments have been skipped. For the past three months I have been making payments without any calculations. This issue has been going on for 6 months now.

I have been requesting for the online details or the statements to be sent but all my requests are overlooked. I have decided not to pay them unless they do something about my statement and login details. I have sent 4 emails and the bank has not had the courtesy to reply to a single mail. In addition to this I get calls for some colection agency, someone who can nor speak english nor Hindi to pay up for the left over 174 Rs. It is hilarious. Since I pay the approximate amount 174 Rs is what is outstanding. I felt the bank should make the adjustments in the next bill rather than sending collection agents for mere 174 Rs. I have now decided not to pay them unless I get all my services right. The customer service is pathetic. I remember one of the agents telling me that there is not Ge money website that exists. Another one was adimant and explained to me, " Incase of paperless statements the customer goes online and checks his bill on the GE money site. He does not receive a statement by email: Well I am sure you understand how pathetic the service is.

I will be getting rid of this card soon, however my humble request to all. Never ever opt for a GE Money Cash Card. It is a pain...
