Pros:  was a great cricketer....
Cons:  in dada peer's times.
No. dada shouldn't be dropped from captainship of Indian cricket team. Infact He should be made the captain of our 'B' or 'C' team for the next 20 years. If that cannot be done, he should be made coach in Greg's place so that he can have a similar spat with Dravid or Sachin a year later. And we will have two more topics - Drop Dravid - Yes/No to argue on.

Whatever stories of Dada's valor that his fans recount are as old as Dada (how appropriate!) Dadi ki kahaaniyaan. He's only capable of playing great teams like Zimbabwe, Kenya or Bangladesh. Thank god he didn't wait to hit 10,000 runs against Chinese cricket team -- where anyone holding cricket bat is an International cricketer -- before hitting moral high grounds on Chappell's accusations.

But that's not what his fans think. If possible they would get Dada declared a national heritage monument. They would get him declared - Taj Mahal, the mausoleum of Indian Cricket. Truly Dada is a 'Qutub Minar' of selfishness

Only way to retain Dada is to change Cricket rules to have a non-playing captain like in Tennis. I am sure dada's fans wouldn't mind that. He can provide moral support from the stands -- that's what he does anyway -- beating his chest or twirling his shirt.

What say Bong Bondhus?

Let me do something really 'Useful' with the remaining space (pity to see it go waste). I'll fill it with Dada jokes. Some old & some new. All from E-mail & internet. None of them are my creations.

I know some of you don't know how to laugh at jokes. But still bear with me puhleese

Shoiab Akhtar admits Ganguly is faster and quicker than him. “I haven’t seen any one get out so fast. Man, I envy his speed. I am quick but he is quickest.”, he says. “I think I should now cut my run up short when I bowl to him. Or else, he might be gone when I am half way thru my run up.”

Dinesh Karthick confesses that his skills in getting ready and padded have improved a lot. As soon as Ganguly goes to bat, I know there is very little time in getting ready. “I must have broken world records a few times in this series” , says the Indian dimunitive wicketkeeper.

Q: Which was the hottest place in B’lore Chinnaswami Stadium during the last India Pak test match?
A: The seat Ganguly was sitting in while in the Pavillion.

- Ganguly to donate all his bats to charity. “I don’t require a bat nowadays”, said the Indian southpaw.

Dear Customers,

We have received many compliments after we shared our recipe of 4 easy steps to cook Maggie. However we have received a very important complaint which we need to share with you all.

One of our regular customers, Mrs. Radha Pai, from Meerut had written to us that she tried out the recipe to cook Maggie during the first ODI between India & Pak.

She says that she followed all the steps correctly and was eager to have her breakfast. But she found that the Maggie was hardly fully wet and hence was not properly cooked.

We thoroughly apologized to our customer on behalf of our captain who returned back to the pavilion even before the Maggie was properly soaked in water.

In this regard we request all our customers to take a precaution and to wait for the Maggie to be cooked until after the re-plays.

Remember, even if Ganguly is back well before 2 minutes, the replays would ensure your Maggie is rightly done.

The management once again apologizes for any uncooked Maggie’s during the first ODI.

Regards.
Maggie Customer Care Centre.
