My mother has septic shock, The doctors said she is serious and must be put in ICU. She was in ICU for about two week and day by day she was improving. we could see the progress.
Since my dad was central government employee, so we can avail CGHS facility. so we opted for it. Initially the hospital accounts department asked for some letter from CGHS and we did produced the same etc.
they asked us to pay and keep saying CGHS will not pay this and that to the hospital. One day on 31st of jan we saw her doing very fine and well awake. we were happy that she has recovered and may be in a day or two they will shift to ward.
on 31st night at 5 am they told us that she is no more. she passed away. As her heart stopped . May god bless her soul and rest in peace.
She had no heart problem at all.
I do not know what went wrong suddenly, they might have killed her to recover the hospitalization cost as they were cribbing that CGHS does not pay for this and that.
Just be careful if you are going to this hospital on CGHS scheme .
