Last week, there was offer going on Groupon i.e. Rs.499 and we will get voucher of Rs.1000 and expiry date was 30th September 2015. I tried to use this voucher on that date but the coupon was showing expiry before its date. I had a chat with the Lenskart customer service agent and he said the coupon got expired. Tell you what; one single person handles their customer chat service with different name.
*Their customer service is pathetic.** In spite of Groupon coupon error, I have purchased one eyeglasses from them and the bridge size was not perfect and have asked for exchange. In spite of exchanging, they said they will take my product and will give the refund. People don’t buy the product for exchanging.
I asked them for exchange as they had mentioned **"Unlimited adjustments - until you’re 100% happy"** and **"Free replacements - exchange over and over"**. They don’t go with their policy and changes every time. Now, my money is stuck with them and they are not giving it back. Every time, they give different reason for the refund issue.
*I will suggest not buying from Lenskart.** Instead, go to the local shop and check the specs fitting and purchase from them. The ecommerce website in India is getting worst. They provide coupon which is of no use as they first mention the price higher and then give us coupon and bring the same rate as offline seller can give us. I have faced the problem and I don’t want that people fall in this trap. I have seen many reviews over here. But, I can definitely say that these looks paid review as most company hire to do so.
I have wasted my time by writing this review so that people don’t fall in this ecommerce trap and find any nearby store for purchasing specs. They will guide you with perfect specs. Beware from Lenskart!
