Lagaan this is the best hindi movie I have seen for quite some time..well this movie about the tale of determination to fight against injustice and oppression..

set in champaneer a small village in central india it is the story of injustice and cruel rule of the british rule in india..

the villagers depend on the rain for the crops and due to the draught they are unable to pay their tax to the king..but they are shocked when two taxes are imposed on them..

aamir plays the role of a young farmer who takes up the challenge of saving his village by accepting an offer which forms the crux of the story..gracy is a brisky cheerful girl who loves aamir and has faith in him..

aamir takes up the important task of defeating the british in a game of cricket which is captain russell's alternate choice for paying the taxes..ifvthe indians defeat the british in cricket then they are pardoned or they would have to pay three taxes..

aamir forms a team of eleven with the hopes and dreams of winning the game..this team unlike the indian team lives up to tye expectation of the audiences ..then the plot unfolds carefully and the movie ends on a happy note..

you get a feeling that you are watching a real cricket match because the cricket sequences are really gripping..the music is fantastic..this must be a real treat to any cricket fan..and this time the indian team does not let us down..
