Hotel Viceroy, Darjeeling. Review on Hotel Viceroy, Darjeeling

I was there in the month of feb, this year along with my wife..Hotel Viceroy was my random choice since I reached Darjeeling from Gangtok via taxi. And suddenly on reaching Darjeeling, I found myself surrounded by no. of Hotel agents trying to sway me, but I chose otherwise & chose Hotel Viceroy instead, by inquiring some local people...

Thanks to off season & my good bargaining skills, I got an executive suite at 3000/- per day with American Plan. And I'd say that I made a good choice, room was quite spacious with good interiors, hotel staff was courteous, food was good (after taking heavy food......nan, shahi paneer, butter chicken etc etc for almost a week, at last I got chapati & dal there, being a north indian, u can understand what it meant to me...lol...) I was given room on 4th Floor with a nice view of mountains, ambience was peaceful...& yes they had WiFi, so better take ur lappy with u....I recommend this hotel for those who r looking for a peaceful stay without any disturnbances.
