I bought a Hero Honda Achiever fully loaded model in March 2006. The bike is good and smooth. the grear have a smooth shift both up and down, but when the heats up the gears shifting from the higher to the lower is difficult, especially the fourth and third gear.
the pick up is reasonable and I get good mileage, somewhere between 65 to 67 kmpl in Delhi (average speed 50 kmph), which is good. the tuf puf tue looks a misnormer, cause I had a flat and when I removed the tube fix the puncture the solution had drained out between the tube and the inner wall of the tyre.
HH needs to rework the rear brake drum, it is not efficient. They need to reqork the seat also , it is quite low for a six foot person. Other wise the bike is great and is a great friend.
I would defiantely recommed this bike to people who want a bike with good speed and reasonable comfort
