It was not really a surprise to discover that Hello was just as I expected it to be- not at par with the book.
This, I guess is the fate of most books turned into movies, maybe the only exception to this rule is the Harry Potter series.
Hello has missed many of the nice episodes mentioned in the book. It did not give a proper background of the relationship between Shyam [sharman joshi] and Priyanka [gul panag]. I am very disappointed with the potrayal of Sohail Khan as Vroom! Sohail is a very "limited" actor and not at all what the character demanded.
Coming to the story, many small, but important episodes were left out. This story about a bunch of people working in a call centre, ranging from a wife whose husband is having an affair, to a frustrated model, to a struggling to get his foot-hold youth, could have been a cult hit. They badly missed.
