Tour to Azerbaijan of FORAM International, 2nd Nov. Review on Foram Worldwide Tours, Mumbai

Tour to Azerbaijan from Mumbai on 2nd Nov 2024, This is our 1st experience with FORAM but I am sure it is going to be the last for us. We shall never recommend this name to anyone and will make sure that none of my friend or family will join any tour of FORAM.

Bus: (1/5)

Extremely poor condition,

Almost half of the seats are not in proper condition, broken handle, broken seat rest.

Throughout the tour the driver was smoking in the bus which really was very uncomfortable for all of us.

Bus Driver was very noncooperative and with a flippant attitude.

The Bus AC was not working but that was informed to us on last day.

Very reluctant to turn on AC in heat and heater in cold climate.

Extremely dirty and old bus was provided while we observed Top End buses by other tour operator

Tour manager: (3/5)

Mr. Rachit Reshamwala is a good human being but seemed to be an unorganised and incompetent manager.

His poor time management and

Lack of knowledge about the tour itinerary disturbed our schedule many time.

As he seemed to be totally depended on the local tour guide and didn’t have any control over any situation.

He kept on changing plans within minutes of informing one plan.

Many time we found him narrating some fake story to hide his incompetency.

Local tour guide (1/5)

Ms Vushala was our local tour guide who has never guided us properly except few history explanation.

Absolutely non cooperative approach.

Mr Rachit our tour manager was running hear and there to manage everything but the local support was almost zero.

Please don’t keep guide like her to spoil the tour.

Food was worst in GABALA. Your head office people also responded very rudely and made us feel as if we were refugees.

Menu selection was very bad… but Maharaj must be appreciated as the food served was very delicious.

On last day we were provided the lunch, the packed food at 5 PM simply by saying that the whole city was blocked due to some political reason and no dinner was served. All the other tours managed lunch and dinner in Baku and had city tour also during that day.

Hotels were good.

Small rooms were provided for three sharing families at the same time we experienced that our other team members got larger rooms.

So no value for money.

Overall tour (1/5)

There must be some one on the airport to manage the luggage of FORAM to carry but we were compelled to find the person to collect the luggage on the airport. It was really very difficult to go out of the airport again to collect the luggage. The day one created bad impression of FORAM change in ternary must be informed in prior. We started with GABALA instead of SHADANG.. shockingly we were never informed about this change.

As per our knowledge, Shekhi tour was skipped in Gabala.

No extra entertainment was arranged in any hotel. Day 1 we joined some other tour's music event and allowed to sing one song.

We got very nice group members and so we managed our way of enjoyment.

In Hotel Tulsi, Baku we never had any musical or dance event where as all other tour had very memorable events at the same place. Why the team FORAM could not manage it?

This is our 1st experience with FORAM but I am sure it is going to be the last for us. We shall never recommend this name to anyone and will make sure that none of my friend or family will join any tour of FORAM.
