As a beach lover, I always wanted the beaches to preserved well. This beach is located in the main part of the city, hence it is crowded. It maybe a good place for relaxation but totally unfit to bathing. The water is really dirty. It is well connected with local trains, buses and taxis. There are eatery stalls in the beach which offers reasonable variety of foods and the taste is also good. There are many sight seeing places from here as it connects the Marine Drive in the South and Malabar hills in the North. Hotels and accommodation is very costly and offers very low quality for a huge price. Bathing or venturing into the sea is not permitted and it is not safe. You can just sit and relax there. Government should take steps to protect the environment.
