I think SBI and BANK OF INDIA are brothers in terms of banking. The BOI services are great. My dad opened an account in BOI within 15 mins. You just need to fill simple form with details like name and address with the information of other accounts you would like to mention. You have to attach an ADDRESS PROOF & IDENTITY PROOF COPY like
1.Aadhar Card
- Driving Licence etc
You will be provided with a book and ATM and Credit card will be sent to you by post. You have to make your username of Internet banking by yourself by going to BOI website with the word given to you in an envelope posted by BOI. It is simple and will take 10-15minutes. You can see details of Debit and Credit card in you netbanking ID.
You can even generate ATM pin online as in otherbank. The banks are well managed and staff cooperate a lot. I havent' used phone banking becasuse I like Netbanking. Its ATM are available but not as SBI. You have to deposit rs1000 while opening an account later on you can take it back. I also could not tell you about it's customer service because I haven't used it yet.
