Zest - Big Beach at pondycherry. Review on Zest, Kodaikanal

I was planning to have 2 nights off during 15-Aug-08 holidays and ended up booking at Zest:Big Beach Property at Pondycherry though Holiday Bilss for 7000 for 2 nights with breakfast included. It was a very good experience.

The resort is next to beach and still not completed but is operational. The rooms are with excellent decor and with LCD TV. It is big enough for 2 double beds (one for you and one for kids). I was told it opened 2 months back and this was the first time they have 100% occupancy.

was thinking, this is not a good situatuion to be in for a holiday as it is there first time they are handling so many visitors...but I think they came out perfect. Inspite of staff shortage I never felt the service was bad. The food was very hot (chilly) first day and when complained the action was immediatelky taken and the chilly content was brought to mild. I am sure they were caring and good.

The had organised a dance floor on 15-Aug and was fun with dancing lights. Next day on 16-Aug was Rock show with a local brand from chennai playing. It was good fun. Besides they have lot of activites that can be done, like, cycling, kite flying etc. You can also have volly ball at beach or play flying disk. They have complete cricket kit for cricket fans and a huge lawn to play. The property is around 20 acre and is huge. Right now as of Aug-2008 they have 5 property and all of them look good. I am seriously planning to take their membership infact decided to go right now as they plan and are comming up with one new resort every 6 months. With time it will become expensive. I also see few reviews posted that they do not give booking to members on holidays which needs more investigation, I will get back with my experience as if I go for membership I will take the highest package that is VERVE for 1.5Lac. The lowes is availabel for 80K for non seasonal bookings.
