Hello friends, Zerodha a/c is very cost effective. Their brokerage is very less compared to others. I have Trading & demat a/c in Zerodha and Edelweiss each. But now I am using only Zerodha because of its low brokerage. I am Explaining below by short example.
Let assume we are trading in Derivative options in 5 lot per day and 20 trading days:-
daily trade=5 lot buy+5 lot sale= 10 lot per day i.e. 10*20days=200 lots as brokerage charged on both sale & purchase
Edelweiss brokerage:-
200 lot X Rs. 75 on each lot=15000 as a brokerage only
Zerodha Brokerage
2 transaction per day(5lot buy and 5 lot sale) X 20Days X Rs. 20 on each transaction= Rs. 800 only
Thus, see there is huge difference in brokerage. So, friends go for Zerodha.
