We have all been watching TV serials, some on Zee, some on Sony or other Channels. But there are few things which are common in every serial.

1. The doors of all the homes, whether a house (bungalow)
or an apartment (flat) are always open. Reminds you of RAM-RAJYA. Even if a person has gone out of town, the doors are left open. Any one can enter other persons house with ease. But when someone really needs to reach someone, you find a gatekeeper or a guard who goes out of his way to stop the entry; or in some cases you have to ring the bell and the door never opens.

2. Not only are the main doors open but even the bedroom doors are wide open.

3. Each and everyone remembers other’s phone number by-heart, mainly the cellphone number; though it might be the first time he is calling that person.

4. Everyone has a habit of talking to himself/herself. Even in the ordinary course when one is thinking and is alone, one doesn’t start talking loudly.

5. When someone is shown telling the other person a secret, you always find the third person (from whom they are hiding the secret) standing less than a foot away. How could one or both be so stupid not to notice a person standing next to them, mainly when they don’t want him/her to hear what they are discussing/talking?

6. The dead heroine (in some cases hero) always comes back alive... KKusum, Kitty Party etc.. Sometimes there is a double roll (usually a fake one)...Lipstick...In other words the hero or heroine are always Amar.
