My Thoughts:

*Because of the contest I wanted to know more about Zee TV. This is what I found out about their history *.

I see the movies via the internet. I enjoy them a lot. It’s a big change from watching Hollywood films.

I call this channel ’zed’ and I bet the Americans call it ’zee’.

Zee Telefims Ltd. from England is a the first to have a TV channel in India. They began in 1992.They were the first to launch a Hindi general entertainment channel in India called Zee TV.

There are hours of original programing that you can see on cable, the internet and through satellite..

Movies are on Zee Cinema, Music on Zee Music, Fashion is on Zee Trenz, Hindi Entertainment is on Zee TV & Zee Smile and they have a news broadcast under Zee News.

You can see Zee TV for free in the UK, (it received an EMMA award for the best digital), the USA, Singapore, (their broadcast is seen in some parts of Africa) and India.

There are over 3000 hours of original programs include Just Ek Minute, Saapseedi, the popular game shows, Tara, Banegi Apni Baat, Antakshari and programs like Saregama, Dastaan, Chattan, Hasratein and Sailaab.

Zee TV`s programming delivers a variety of choices for all segments of the audience, including prime time comedy and drama series, television movies, miniseries, theatrical films, specials, children`s programs, daytime dramas, game shows and late night shows.

Some of the Zee Regional Indian channels include Zee Marathi and Zee Bengali.

Some of the movies they show are filmed in Canada. I hope you get to see them, (Sabah, Sam & Me and Sam to name two).

Make sure you make it home every day by 9 p.m. to watch a movie.
