Zee English is another sad attempt by Zee NETWORKS to try to get back at the mighty STAR TV. The only saving grace in this channel are two shows , ’’THE SOPRANOS’’ and ’’FRIENDS’’.

Their two hour comedy run consists completely of old shows with the exception of ’’FRIENDS’’. ’’FULL HOUSE’’ and ’’THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR’’ are very very old comedies. And having comedies for two straight hours in my opinion is not a very good idea. But it does beat STAR WORLD when it comes to FRIENDS which when compared to STAR they do show newer episodes. And also their late night shows are particularly horrible. They show extremely old British Comedy Shows.

’’THE SOPRANOS’’ is one of the best dramas out there. Action packed and tension filled, it always keeps you on your seat. Fans of the GODFATHER trilogy would love this show. James Gandolfini as the head of a mafia crime family is simply brilliant in his role so as all the others. Bravo to ZEE ENGLISH for airing this to TVs all over the country.

And of course then there is that problem of DIGITAL!!! The Sound and Visual quality are very very poor and I really think they should do something about it. The overall presentation of the channel looks very sad and looks like it was done by some 15 year old graphics artist. Overall ZEE ENGLISH looks like a channel that really really needs to go under some sort of rennovation. Everything looks very messed up.
