I went to the Zara store at DLF Select Citywalk, New Delhi to exchange a formal shirt bearing article No: 05679220403042. I pleaded with the store manager Mr. Bharat who refused to change the article for a smaller size within the said 30 days although the shirt had all the necessary tags and packing in place. Forget not exchanging the shirt Mr. Bharat was extremely rude to me and was dismissive of my request. He started walking away while I was talking to him. He appeared irritated and aggressive.
I am shocked to learn that Zara treats its customers in such a shoddy way. Mr Bharat was very aggressive and he demonstrated total lack of basic managerial skills to deal with simple issues. This is a relatively trivial issue in a manager's professional charter and daily mandate. I am afraid Mr. Bharat lacks basic courtesy.
Zara store personnel have a supercilious attitude towards Indian consumers and tend to treat us with disrespect. They want our money but don't like us! We in India should boycott this brand! *
