On 19/2/17 I had send an online query for internet connection of You broadband. On the same day in the evening I got a call from the company saying that they will set up the connection that ay itself, I was impressed as I didn’t expect them to revert so soon. However, that they only took the payment, full amount in cash. They said that the connection will be set up in 7 working days, which was inconvenient for me as I could have got a connection from another ISP within 2 days, but as they had taken the full payment from me before telling me about their 7 day policy that option was closed. After 6 days on 24th Feb I was contacted by the engineer(if they had to set up the connection in 7 days the hardware process should have been initiated in 3 days max. post the payment) .The engineer sent me a permission letter for hardware setup which needed to be approved by the society authority(the letter had flaws too). When I said that the company is expected to pay a rent to the society for using the premises like other companies do they said that they will said someone to make the agreement(no one turned up).When I called the customer care to complain I came to know that even after making the full payment my information was not updated in their database. I asked for a refund and they agreed, after 2 days of repeatedly calling them did I finally got the refund on 2nd March 17.
