I visited the new YOKO restaurant that opened near Mindspace Malad. The waiting period was 30 minutes but that I think is ok as it was a Friday evening.  The waiting was made miserable by the files, mosquitoes and the occasional cockroach in the waiting area.

Once we were inside we placed our order for a veg and a non-veg sizzler each. The average price of a dish is about 300 Rs.  I found the waiters to be a bit confused. Once I saw all the waiters crowding the cash counter, probably there was some mess-up. Just as I had observed while waiting in the waiting area even within the restaurant I could see cockroaches running around....can you imagine this!!.  One of these creatures climbed up on the table next to yours, the waiter promptly picked it up using a napkin and showed it the door.  This left a bad taste in my mouth. I was thinking if this is the situation in the eating area then the kitchen maybe even worst.

The wash room was not maintained properly and the floor was slippery. The flush was not working either.

The food was ok but not worth the 300 Rs that they charge. It had more French fries than anything else. Pop-Tates is a better place for sizzlers as the taste is much better there and that too at half the price.
