Pros:
excellent value for money, durable, easy maintenance, unbeatable riding
Cons:
can be a bit heavy for some, not fuel efficient

Jawa’s, Yezdi’s, Royal Enfields and Rajdoot’s have been in my family for ages.
Even as a kid, I used to look forward to ride with my uncles whenever they came for a visit. But I enjoyed
the most, when I could ride on my Dad’s 1966 Jawa(Sitting on the fuel tank or pillion riding)!! I enjoyed many years of riding on this magnificent motorbike as I was growing up and i could show-off to my friends in school(I was in 10th grade)that I could ride ’’Big Bikes’’.

I had a Yamaha RD 350, but it was too expensive on fuel and parts. The next big moment was when I bought my new roadking(1994) model. It was blood red in colour and was the most precious thing I’ve ever had in my life. From then on there was no looking back.

I then realised that all new model roadkings-(post 1993) do not have the ’’Double-Clutch’’ mechanism that older models had(upto 1989). To explain more-the new models only have a single clutch chain and a single clutch sprocket. The older models had a double clutch and a double clutch sprocket.

I had this changed to the double clutch and the power increased dramatically. I also had my dyno tuned with a bigger magnet and changed my induction coil for a more high powered coil.

If anyone does the above--I bet you that it will be the best thing you’ve done for a roadking. You can easily beat the crap out of the much faster Yamaha RD-350 by a record time or a considerable lead.

AND MY FRIENDS TO GET THE UNBEATABLE ’’YEZDI BEAT/HYMN’’, GET YOUR BIKE TO HYDERABAD AND HAVE IT DONE BY ANY DECENT YEZDI MECHANIC.

I’ve travelled fairly well in India, and its sad to notice that all riders from different states tend to take their mufflers off. A better option is to modify these mufflers to achieve ’’The most Electrifying Sound on the Road’’.

I truly love these bikes and I believe that they are a true icon for Macho attitude. They have been an idol for over 40 years.

If you ride a yezdi, you are automatically popular, get more respect from other road users and will not be messed with. This bike has an unusual charisma over girls too. I was always referred to, as the ?Roadking ? wallah?.

This bike also offers the perfect entry. No matter where you go to-either meet your friends, go for a date or just stop at a café for a cup of chai, people no matter how busy they are, stop for a moment to look as to who?s arrived on a yezdi. That?s the power of a yezdi my fellow ?YEZDIERS?

So, Here is a message for all you Jap-Crap(Yamahas,Hondas,etc) riders----
’’ MOVE OVER, THE KING IS HERE’’
