Yelagiri is one of those typical, silent places that seem ordinary on the outside, but are more and more startling as you discover it. It has all the features of a great hill station, be it sunset points or lakes and parks. But the beauty of Yelagiri lies in all the more that it has to offer

Yelagiri may not be one of the busiest hill stations in the country, but it does have its own set of facilities. Eating options is one of them. There are hotels spread out throughout the city, each with their own options. There are also numerous standalone restaurants.

Contrary to expectations, Yelagiri has numerous lodging options. There are tens of guest houses and motels located around the Athanavoor Main Road Area(Murgun Temple) along with the Punganoor Lake Area.

November- February

Yelagiri is one of those places that experiences pleasant whether all through the year. Owing to its latitude, it never really gets too hot. The winters aren't very chilly either. So going to Yelagiri at anytime is just as much fun. The November- February bracket does serve as the best time, but if you want to see its Summer Festival, then May and June is the time to go.
