Dissatisfied Trip-Visit for once. Review on Yelagiri

Hi all.I am going to share my experience about a one day trip to Yelagiri.We made a quick planning to a trip in the month of june 3rd week by car to a hill station-Yelagiri, which is situated near Vellore around 240 km from Chennai.We started by morning 5 am and spotted there around 10 am in between had breakfast in Highway hotel near Vellore,

Yelagiri is a small and developing  hill station located in between the towns of Vaniyambadi and Jollarpettai.The climate and roads were good.There are so much of resorts to stay but the price is high and seems to be not worth, so we searched for an hour to get a room especially with car parking.We checked in Yelagiri Residency, costs around 1000 Rs for a day.

After a refreshment. we went to a hotel for lunch and very much disappointed that there is not at all good restaurants especially for Non-Veg eaters.Menu is very less and worst taste, Food is one of the important thing when we were going for a trip.So, not getting a proper food it feels like a uncomfortable.

Then we went to sight-seeing.Few only there-Nature park, Punganoor lake  park and a falls.With in one hour, We finished the Sight -seeing.After that a person Misguided us to a place called Thrill park.After we reached their, we were felt like waste trip, Because it is setup artifically with some activities like bike riding, climbing.Water ball.The entry fees is 100 Rs and we can play rides by giving extra money.There are more three park like this, because there is no other place to visit.

Then next day morning we vacated the room and brought some home-made chocolates, spices and a jack fruit and came to home.

Totally dissatisfied with the trip.
