My cousin have 10 months old baby. One day she was dull. we referred to near by clinic in marthalli and after no improvement they referred to Yashoda(Yashomati) Medicare(hospital) on varthur Rd.
The baby had infection and had motion and vomiting for two days. and dehydrated. The detection and medication was good for dehydration and vomit except motion( Diorrhea - we came to know later)
Apart from this doctors did all sort of non-sense(like throwing away newly bought milk bottle and suggest mother feeding only) . Notably there were 4 doctors and all were not on same page on how motion will stop and when they should discharge the baby. They sought each others advice when asked for it.
After three days and average of 16 high fluid motions every day. we decided to have second opinion and we rushed the baby to Apollo Hospitals Baneghatta rd. the doctors detected Diorrhea and said "NO MILK" for 48 hours. Apollo Ruled out any admission and charged very little for the in-house medication.
I am thankful to Dr Raghvan(Pediatrician) in Apollo for attending baby at 9PM where he leaves generally at 7:30PM
Overall Yahoda Hospitals did not cure Diorrhea . just to make money out of our stay at Semi-Private Room. Upon asking they said "It will automatically stop and medication will have side effects"
Baby is doing real good after single dose of Apollo.
Never admit your family members/specially kids to YASHODA. coz they are vulnerable to delayes in medication.
