I had medium abdominal pain on one sunday evening. I called Yashomati Hospital in Marathahalli, Bangalore and asked for a physician. They said, sunday evenings no physician will be available for consultation but you can directly go to casualty department.
When I went to casualty department, they immediately took me to a bed, without asking much about my problem. They measured BP, heartbeat etc. Then one duty doctor came and pressed on my abdomen and told something to staff. He immediately brought two injections and gave to me. And then they asked whether somebody has come with me. When I said yes, they asked my friend to pay the bill and get some medicines. They even gave saline bottle to me. At the end they did not even tell what the problem is. For just that, they charged me 1000/-.
Ultimate thing is, again duty doctor came and asked if pain is not reduce we can do ultrasound right now. I said "no" after seeing all this. Then doctor is saying, "patients are now telling what to do and what not to do"
Despite all these, pain did not reduce at all even after a day.
Later I went to MGA Hospital which is also in Marathalli junction. There doctor told its an intestine infection and gave few tablets. He told what to eat and not to eat for 3 days. I have recovered in a day.
Few of my friends had good experience here(for regular consulation).
So, my suggestion is avoid visiting this hospital on sunday evenings(Specially when they ask you to go to casualty)
