yes god has finally heard our prayers. they used to mock at us. mocked by mere mortals like bajaj and hero honda. it is a dumb bike company that basks in the lost glory of its now forgotten two strokes.

in a generation of bike lovers for whom performance is pulsar and speed goes by the name karizma has forgotten that not so long ago performance went by the name rx-100 and speed had dual names rxg and for the truly passionate rd-350.
when the dawn of the four strokes arrived yamaha could muster up the yd-125 as its most powerful 4-stroker in the stable.
while the competition had goliaths in the size of 150cc, 180cc, 225cc. the fastest yamaha could muster was a brave fazer with a mere 125cc. i must however remind the reader that an expert rider on the fazer 125 could throw dirt in the face of a novice riding a 150.
but in the land of mileage (india) and cheap market gimmicks of outdating a motorcycle within 1 year of start of production yamaha was not quite ’yamaha’
i own an enticer which i bought last year with full knowledge that it would be phased out, i guess thats love.... but i love yamaha. people still laugh at me when i talk of the legend once known as yamaha.
but that day i think was a thursday , i was getting late for work. my eyes were captured by a prominent auto magazine on whose cover stood this monstrosity, the future of performance by yamaha. the magazine proudly states that the bike will be in the market by the latter half of this year. there also stands side by side a 150 which goes by the name gladiator and is the most stylish bike i have ever seen........(imagine.......... the silencer goes under the seat)
no i have not ridden this bike and can only give a few specs which i have come across.
this bike is hugely popular in brazil.
it goes 130kms+
and is apparently cheap i guess it should come in the under 80,000 range if it has to compete with the karizma and the not yet launched pulsar 250.
probably one of the safest bikes manufactured by yamaha has only one fairly large 17’’ disk in front and rear drums.
i write this review to remind all of those who read this review that yamaha has finally returned............hahahahaha............
