This is my first Review in Mouth-shut. I bought my Bike on march 18, Mine was a Red Color bike. The Reasons for Selecting this bike is that, I am a 5'8 feet guy weighing 85 kg and I have a back pain problem. I Had test ride of all the bikes in the market and sorted the platina 125, shine, slingshot, ss125 and ybr 125, for their suspension and mileage characteristics.
Taking Quality into Priority I zeroed to Japanese products.The Honda shine took 3 months delivery period and ss 125 not available with dealer, since they are busy promoting sz. So I chose Ybr 125 and I got the bike Delivered with registration, just after the day of Amount settlement. This is the best bike suited for tall guys who need comfort and mileage as their priority with restricted Budget.
Update 1 : Too My Surprise, this is the only Yamaha bike in the market, with gear pattern of hero honda .ie all the gears are in (back) 4up like splendor, passion.This bike will be a boon for people upgrading from hero Honda 100cc Segment bikes.
Update 2: Gave service after 500 Kms. Had problem in gear shifting. Service centre Rectified that problem and gear shifting is smoother than before. Added a extra horn & tank cover. Replaced rod Bumper with Butterfly bumper.
