Not the most stylish kid on the market but, as budget, simple learners move, the Yamaha YBR125 offers very good affordability. Gentle, easy going and practical, check out you through your ensure that you it’ll, if you wish, beyond. The Yamaha YBR125 is most beneficial as a city ride, there’s enough poke to wind you through hurry hour site visBrianbalakumaranrs and the handling’s not bad either.

Having just done cbt fancied a chinese motorcycle that looked good til I read opinions. Found my native yamaha dealer very knowledgeable and not biased towards yamaha. Bought a whole new one and it is loved by me. Needed gear selector adjusted to suit my boot but this is no issue to the dealer who quickly sorted this. Great bike, enough power to bypass commute and town. Brakes smoothly and power delivery is i'm all over this. Spend the excess over a chinese bike for the product quality, you will surely gain savings in not having repair bills often! Looks great and is fun undoubtedly!

Ride Quality & Brakes 4 out of 5

The Yamaha YBR125’s very light and boasts surprisingly great handling. Nothing too mad: it’s just forgiving and easy to practice your cornering on. The suspension’s basic but effective while the Yamaha YBR125's brakes are good, at the front especially. It even sounds pretty fruity.  There’s kick, along with electric, start.

Engine 4 out of 5

The Yamaha YBR125's air-cooled four stroke can be pretty nippy, with enough power to propel you around village or along easy A roads at a fairly decent speed. The Yamaha YBR125's major whack’s around 70mph but cruising at 55mph is infinitely more comfortable. Smooth fuel injection can help you along and there’s a choke(under the tank, unfortunately) for those cold starts.

Build Quality & Reliability 3 out of 5

The Yamaha YBR125 is build-to-a-finances and, to an degree, it shows. Owners chat of dodgy indicator wiring and once in a while sticky gearboxes but, overall, they seem happy, when the Yamaha YBR125 costs so little to get especially. The engine’s solid, proven and reliable.

Insurance, running costs & value 4 out of 5

Cheap to buy, really cheap to insure and gas consumption’s astonishing. Things go wrong with Yamaha YBR125s but rarely, if they do, parts are inexpensive and easy to find plus the Yamaha YBR125 is simple to work on yourself, saving even more money.

Tools 4 out of 5

Anasultanlogue clocks and a petrol gauge make up the Yamaha YBR125's basic but beneficial dash; there’s a centrestand, luggage rack and a grabrail for pillions. The seat on the Yamaha YBR125 is quite comfy, even over distance, but the mirror stalks are somewhat short for decent rear vision. Cast alloy wheels look good and there’s an aftermarket display screen available from Yamaha for when the components get too much.
