This is my first review, though I have been following mouthshut for a long time, 3 years probabaly:P, instead of just saying this bike is the best.

I would like to compare with the others so that u can choose ur best that suits you. the list of bikes that I made a list to buy one was: 1)pulsar 135 2)shine 3)yamaha ss 125.

The pulsar 135 is a very good bike indeed, it gets to 60 kmph quicker than the 150.gives 50 kmpl and looks ok.but. quality not good at all, the gear box though improved compared to older bajaj bikes.

Still is very troblesome.ride quality is good, coz the suspension is soft which makes it a very average handler, which was my priority to have a good handling bike.andn obvious since its a bajaj its engine is never reliable and the engine note is awkward.so it got eliminated. shine is a very good bike if ur an middle aged person coz it looks a bit more matured.

How ever the looks of vehicle are upto individaul tastes.it has reasonbly good pickup, very impressive indeed.ride was comfortable better than pulsar and it hadles well too.gear box was sticky and not upto the honda mark.the quality was also ok ok chalega.but the main drawbacks are the acid leaks out from tha battery when ever the bike gets wet and a hoping 3 months waiting time:(.f finally I bought a yamaha. but from my child hood I am a big fan of yamaha and rx100 was my dream bike. so my assumptions about a yamaha, 1)never mind mileage,

2)lose your back with stiffer suspension. 3)high performance and reliability of the engine. omg, what a product this is from yamaha.it has changed some of my assumptionsthis is a newer version of the gladiator.even though it was very allrounder it was not recieved well.no coming to ss125 graphics has reworked which are good. the engine has been retuned for better performance and mileage too.its giving me 50 kmpl+ if u are concerned about mileage.

And I am a very harsh rider and in hyderabad traffic I would consider as a boon.the suspension is also tuned compared to gladiator and is perfect.if offer the best ride quality in its class better than the shine, thank god I dint buy it.it gets over the pothholes with ease.the chasis is perfectly balanced and handling top notch.that need not be explained coz its a yamaha and it would ride like a yamaha.riding position is very comfortable, the seat is also very comfortable and the biggest of the lot . its a big bike and u feel as if ur riding a 150 not a 125.i travel 60 kms a day and I feel less strained compared to the rest.i have to say agian the suspension is ery well balanced between ride and handling and it cannot be made better, its that good.the quality of parts, engine and the gearbox are very good, of course these are yamahas forte.coming to my interest performance, ooooo. this is no less than my dream bike.it has a very good pickup, but the top end grunt is missing which is not much of a concern neverthe less better than shine, here pulsar has a upper hand.NO vibrations what so ever even if u hit 80 kmph.its top speed is 105 . so overall it is comfortable, gives rathar good mileage(50 kmpl+).looks good, has attractive color combinations, and its an allrounder.so guis if ur looking for abike in this segment this is the bike for u.iam very happy with my bike and bought it with my first salary:).
