Rocking. Review on Yamaha RXZ

Well this very product of yamaha was a failure @ all yet I think it has led to new experimentation in indian automobile scenario. Some interesting acts about rxz

1. Advanced aerodyanamic body(really it was different)

   
   




2. Stunning look(remember 1997 in which it was launched)

   
   




3. Excellent pick up(although millege is debateable)

   
   




4. Different from then available basic type slim machines

   
   




5. Aimed to get back the lost legacy of yamaha as was aschieved under rx-100 regime

   
   

Now coming back to present.

Although this bike was aimed t grabbing the lost share of rx100 yet it recd. Lukewarm received from buyers especially from villages & small cities due to its super advanced looks.

Also

Petrol prices starts rising.giving a way for fuel eicient 4stroke bikes.(alas this bike was 2 stroker)

This bike was aimed to target the youths who were buying suzuki samurai or splendor(the stylish god in 98s)

Yamaha had tried to create the surge in its demand by introducing 5speed version in its last days yet they were poor @ their attempts as people now start prefering bullish bikes(like cbz, pulsars)wid 4stroke technology.

Although it was not that successful product yet I had sum great memories with this bike like

1. Its print advertizement in which a horse was shown trying to go as like bullet from cannon

   
   




2. Its advrtzmnt slogan was "unleash the power of z"

   
   




3. I remember my days wen I had not eated for 1 whole day 2 persuade my brother to prefer this bike against rxg or splendor in may 1998.although I got succedd in getting a maroon rxz(finally my bros. Had sold it in 2005 due 2 rare part availability)

   
   

In last I can say this bike was really a great one yet has never taken of. Yet was unique.
