YAMAHA RX 135 needs no introduction and is one of its kind never being surpassed and will never be conquered. Alexander never faced defeat and so is Yamaha RX series.

Some details for those who don't know about Yamaha RX 135.

Preceder: Yamaha RXG 135 CC.

Introduced in: 1996-1997.

Last Model  : 2004-2005.

Technology  : 2 Stroke.

Engine size  : 132.xx CC

Power: 12 BHP @ 6500 RPM for 4 speed and 14.15 BHP  @ 7500 rpm, for 5 speed and RXZ models.

Fuel Efficiency: 35-45 KMPL(MY 97 YAMAHA RX 135's best achieved mileage being 56 KMPL, may be engine was running lean. So altered the flow getting now stable 44-48 KMPL in City and Ring roads in Bangalore).

Pros:

1) True Racer- Unbeatable among its competitors.

2) Easily wheelable- PROVIDED you have right skills to handle it, I don't.

3) Maintenance and Trouble free- Till you screw the engine very badly.

4) GRIP is at its best especially with Yezdi RIM and Dunlop Tyres - Ride it even on footpath or shabby roads full of holes, The vehicle is stable.

5) 2 Stroke engines can be rebored at very low cost and Yamaha engines likes the rebore till around 3 rebore. Result slightly improved pickup and slight decrease in mileage.

6) Extremely easy to ride in dense traffic.

7) The Yamaha Bumble Bee sound screaming past every other vehicle on the roads and highways alike.

Cons:

1) 10 KMPL less expected F.E(as compared to lets say Unicorn, but pickup is got at the cost of Mileage).

2) Curves are deadly to handle and so are turnings at high speeds, a big NO-NO.

3) Considering its pick-up, a guy needs proper brain to drive it else, he will for sure crash into something.

4) The Yamaha exhaust emits dense smoke when not maintained properly.

5) Added oil 2T oil cost along with petrol.

Envy Factors:

1) Riders not owning a Yamaha RX are always envious to see someone screaming their engine on the road going pas with ease.

2) A well maintained Yamaha RX can be conquered by 200 CC engines from 4 stroke, but it still requires great skills to handle their bikes stable with such speed. But Yamaha has no trouble since the vehicle is having great gravitational stability, great Pickup for such low weight of the vehicle.

3) Girls who sit along with their Boyfriends on Uncle Bikes wonder when their boyfriend will grow up to think that there exists a better bike in the market that is capable to scream past any damn thing.

4) Street Dogs(My favorite topic) - Poor buggers don't like to sleep on the road or in between the path of a screaming Yamaha, for they are sure if they come in between, the next time they wake they would be in the hospitals maintained by CUPA or PETA, severely bruised and some body part being severed.

"The hospital nurse saying aap Theek hai naan? Kaise feel kar rahe ho? abhi pata chala aap kiske neeche aagaye thay? "

Moreover their hearing capacity is severely impaired by the Yam Noise.

A lady dog(cant use the correct word, censored) saying to its boy friend, Kya Bhai jaan, sun ne mein aaya hai ke aaj kal aap barabar nahin sun paate hain. Kya baat hain?

The dog answering "Lagta Hai main Jawani mein hi Boodha hojavoonga, Yeh Yamahawale saale itna shor karte hain, ke aajkal mere koi bhi jism ke purze barabar kaam kar nahin hain

So Got it?, Yamaha and its fans are the winners -  Har Haal mein Har keemat mein Yamaha ki hamesha jeet hain.
