The Yamaha Fz-s which I had bought in 2010 is still working very smoothly and I call it my darling because after so many years she is still giving me 42-43 mileage.Initially the mileage had dropped and when I took it to Yamaha authorized service center near my house, the friendly service person fine-tuned the engine for me and the mileage was increased .
even though they say you will get 60-65kmpl mileage but I don't know about that because it is calculated on standard road conditions.but in this pot-hole filled road without asphalting and tar(the usual Bangalore roads)still my darling is giving 42kmpl which is amazing.and because of the sturdy disk brakes I brake immediately when necessary with precision, And I take my Mom on the pillion to buy groceries and veggies which goes on to show the comfort of the cushioned seats(front & back).And I have seen people standing in a different queue for petrol with oil/without oil, but once I fill my darling with Yamalube oil designed for MD5 engine I forget about putting oil along with petrol until next service I will definitely recommend this model to my friends and relatives, infact after seeing my bike my cousin also who is a college student bought this bike because of the stylish looks of fz-s and he is also happy with the mileage.when I bought it it was somewhere around Rs77, 000/- I dont know how much it will cost now but still it is worth your money.
There are a lot of powerful bikes in the market like 350 cc But and 200cc KM 0r 180cc Pul*r but mine is a 150 cc bike which couldn't be compared to when it comes to stylish looks.
