When I was looking for a soulmate this is the place I looked. I am quite shy and do not do the bar scene so figured this would be a good way to meet men.

The concept is good for sure but all in all most people were not like they say they are and I had some disastrous dates. Dates from outer space I called them.

However for anyone wanting to try here is a little advice. E-mail them awhile first, ask lots of questions then talk to them on the phone. Ladies ask for their number and you call them. If a man won’t give you his phone number he has something to hide like the fact that he has a wife. I ran into this a lot, no phone number and forget it.

Do not give out your address. If you decide to meet someone make the meeting in a public place and meet the person there. You never know what crazy people are out there. The person may be fine but you just can’t tell so meet first in public as I said and see if you feel comfortable. If not there is no point in meeting a second time.

A date for a quick lunch or even coffee is best to start. It is a short date so if you do not like the person you can get away quickly without being too rude.

I met my guy on yahoo but not in the personals. I had had numerous dates through the personals and was about to give up and that is when I found him on yahoo messenger.

Love comes along when you are not looking for it but for those that continue to look I do hope you find the love of your life.
