Yahoo has always been my favourite.
Being new to the Internet created my free Email account in Hotmail (NOTmail but Spam) and soon when I learnt more about the Internet I made an account in Yahoo a few days later.

From the beginning I’ve like the look/ interface of Yahoo more than Hotmail and then I was offered 6MB of space while Hotmail was only 3 MB (later on I learnt it was 2 MB)

I began to use Yahoo mail more often and what I exceptionally liked about this free email service provider was NO SPAM till two years back.

I get 6-8 spam mails daily in Yahoo while on Hotmail I receive 20-30 a day.

Yahoo’s tie-up with geocities was amazing giving everyone chance to build free personal homepages.

I also particularly liked the pop3 access that was extremely helpful.

What I like about Yahoo is there’s no pop-ups.

The ’’block spammers’’ was introduced by Yahoo way ahead before Hotmail did.

Spam I feel is the biggest difference in the two, i feel at ease with Yahoo.

Then the groups of Yahoo are much better Hotmail.

Hotmail however does excel in its Messenger which is more comfortable and user friendly though Yahoo added things such as Webcam before.

Now Yahoo definately excels Hotmail, with Hotmail still stuck on 2MB of Space, Yahoo Delivers a whooping 100 MB.

I hope Yahoo does better on its search engine, b’coz I’m hooked onto Google.
