I have been using Yahoo! email as the email of choice for more than 3 years now and it has been absolutely perfect. Its not that i have a account only on Yahoo!.... any email service provider u name ... i have a account at that service ... but nobody has been yet able to dislodge Yahoo as my choice. The reasons for this are following. Reliability:- Yahoo! is one of the most reliable names around on the web, So you can be pretty much sure that one fine morning you wake up, log on to the web, type http://mail.yahoo.com and find Server Not Found page sitting in ur web browser. You can be pretty much sure that Yahoo! is gonna stay till there are free email services around. Facilities:- This is the best part of having a Yahoo! email account. The number of facilites u get in a yahoo account outnumber any mail service. Briefcase, Notepad, Address Book etc etc ... all are very useful and all have some nifty little features that are extremely useful. For example the Yahoo! Address Book has a gr8 feature to sychronize the address book on the web with ur computer thats a gr8 thing. Speed:- There was a time when Rediffmail was faster than Yahoo! ... not any more ......

Now Yahoo is one of the fastest mail services around. Interface:- Yahoo! has got the nicest interface in a free email service. Especially the new look Yahoo is gr8 to look at and also very very intuitative and helpful for the new user as well as the experienced one. Bulk Mail:- This feature is gr8. It transfers the spam to this folder according to its own filters and u can set ur own filters as well. its pretty effective After all those gr8 features ... it has got few bad points as well. Space:- The space available in a paltry 4 mb ... compared to indiatimes and some others but still larger than hotmail etc. Over all decent amount of space but nothing really large, Overall it still gets my vote for the best email service around ........ asa bonus .... u have the gr8 Yahoo Messenger service as well :)
