I booked an order on snapdeal last week and was about to receive it before 20th Jan. However, they were not able to deliver it in that time and sent an apology message with extending the delivery date till 23rd. When I tried to track the shipment on their website, it was written in the morning my product was out for delivery on 21st Jan. But I did not receive any call and upon re checking the tracking status it says that office closed.
I called their customer care 020-49116100 and it asked me to write the shipment no. and press# but it did not accepted my tracking number and call disconnected. It happened every time I tried doing it.
Finally when today I received the order, the delivery guy said that since your office was closed on Saturday and Sunday, I did not come. I asked that my office is 24*7 and how come he assumed that it will be closed without calling the customer? He didn't have any answer to that and further added that calling customer isn't our job as we have almost 3500 other shipments to be delivered. This was very rude of the person as it's courier company's responsibility to deliver the order without Assuming that address will be closed or open. The staff was rude and not at all helpful. Very bad courier service and I would suggest that snapdeal should not use this courier service.
And even he was unable to contact his own customer care in front of me.
