Thanks but no thanks. Review on XXX Movie

So my team has been working quite hard. We are heading towards the close of the project and the morale is heading south due to several issues. I was looking for ways to motivate my team and sort of bring everybody together. I thought lets have some movie action. XXX was all over the media and seemed like a good choice, since it was been potrayed as Bond-killer.

Bond appeals to everybody from teenager to grandfathers. If you don't believe me, then watch the ads that they play when they are playing bond movies on the ABC. Its almost hilarious. The situation goes something like this. There is intense action scene with Mr.Bond in his latest faster super-duper car travelling at million miles per hour been chased or chasing somebody. Soon there will be a commercial break and they will try to sell carpet cleaner or some household appliance. I am convinced that more house-wife's watch bond movies compared to teenagers.

Sorry for the digression.. but teenagers are the ones who might enjoy this movie. Its action for the sake of action. Its just too much action. It starts out quite promising, but pretty soon it seems too loud. Can't even fall asleep. Power nap... you know. I think there should be a rule, if you make bad movies, make sure they are not loud and noisy. Something like ''Bridges of Madison County'' - a very good nap movie.

Well, coming back to XXX, I simply didn't get it. I like the Diesel fellow. His thick husky voice reminded me of Amitab in Zanjeer. The lead actress is from Italy and she is kind of cute. Unless you are delinquent juvenile, you probably won't enjoy the movie. Regarding my decision to choose this movie to boost team morale, I think it went further south after viewing this movie ;-)
