Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights is one of the greatest love stories in literature that makes readers spell-bound for years. Cathy and Heathcliff's love knows no bounds, knows no normative, conventional ways. It starts and continues like rocks. They struggle for their love, for their beings. Heathcliff, the adopted child of the family although cornered and neglected by other children, but gradually grows a great kinship with cathy. They grow each other, and their beings get interconnected. Heathcliff and cathy's love is not confined in material plane as Cathy said'i am Heathcliff'. Even after Cathy's death, Heathcliff could feel the presence of Cathy. The love story furthers to the next generation. Their love thus challenges time, space and our conventional ideology of love and its fulfilment into marriage. But Wuthering Heights and its each and every line of the book transend us into the passionate world of love where one would fall in love with the struggle, their rock like characters, intense words touch deep into the reader's heart.
