According to me, woodland shoes are good to be used on a dry terrain. The leather is very good and also is durable and waterproof, but the downside is, I find them very heavy. Its an absolute NO for a wet and snowy terrain.
Reason:
It slips a lot which makes it risky for a wet and snowy terrain
It is heavy and might get you into trouble for longer treks with steep climbs.
Your trekking shoe are your best friend in a trek. It helps you walk safely, comfortably and confidently on a difficult terrain, protects you from the cold, keeps your feet dry and identifies you as a trekker in the mountains
