Wonder La is a pleasant surprise and fun place for even folks visiting Bangalore. Its really clean, the employees at all levels are very disciplined, food is great/cheap/multi-cuisine and the rides are
Wonderful. Spend the entire day there, but you may still not get to cover all the dry and wet rides they offer :)
Yes its a theme park, so dont really expect considerable number of activities for your elderly parents, or for someone who may have health issues like high BP or scare for heights :( Some kid rides and the indoor shows are sure to capture their mind. Make use the locker room, have one or two pairs of change clothes ready and a satisfied ride home. Take care of your cameras and cell to avoid water in them. Water could feel cold when you come out of rides. Also use sun screen for your safety.
Thrill rides live upto their names and Water is really refreshing and yes, clean. The laser and musical fountain, the rain disco, the 3D show are all a must and indoors. Kiddie rides are interestingly done and include Moon walker bouncy slide, Jumping frogs, Mini train, Pirate ship, Kiddy wheel, the horse-carousal etc., The setting is family friendly for a park of this size.
Water Pendulum is not the only thrill! Water rides have twisters, racers, vertical falls, all at different levels for individuals and groups based on how much challenge you need. Check the height limit if you have kids, some allow, some dont. Play pool is fun but wave pool gets you in the rush :) Laze in the Lazy River while it carries you around.
Dry rides have the Bamba- the bus that gets raised; Screamy Maverick that twists and turns you; Drop zone- the gravity defying drop; Termite train entertains everyone with its roller coaster in a termite home, so indoor; Insanity is really the insane drive :) Y scream-- yes, you got to scream; Techno Jump believe me has its scary moments but really fun; Hurricane is indeed whirly and high; Crazy cars isnt anything new, but a family favorite; Wonder Splash can not leave you without soaking wet, but happy; Mixer works you around;
Toon tango lets you relive your childhood; then there is Lion swing and flying Elephant rides; Pirate ship looks simple, but take the challenge, just for the sake of it :) Net walk lets you relax in another way; Get a good view of the entire park and all around it from the Sky wheel; The laser and musical fountain, the rain disco, the Cinemagic Death train all three are a must and are indoors. Overall, its a great place to chill out, away from everyday worries and to find out who is bold and who isnt :)
