Last Saturday, 24 Feb 2007, visited WonderLa me along with my wife. I really enjoyed the whole day in this park. I had been previously to Theme parks like BlackThunder near Ooty and Adhisayam

near Madurai. However this park struck me more cool than the others. Let me tell you why.

We actually rode in our bike , took approx an hour for me to reach(i rode at a safe 50-60KMPH) from my place BTM layout(most of the time i was stuck in traffic signals in JP nagar, banashankari). Once you reach the StateHighway(Mysore 4 lane SH), the ride is cool with no bumpy ride. After travelling for a while , you will see directions in the highway to WonderLa which are easy to follow. You will have to travel approx a KM or so after taking diversion from the highway to the themepark and i tell you this road is not that great. It is bumpy and has no proper directions. I found it particularly difficult to commute when returning back to blore in the evening at around 7:30PM. There are no street lights and it is better to piggytail a bus/taxi until yo u reach the highway if you are in a bike.

Once you reach the themepark, there is ample parking space, so no problem in that regard. The entry fee came to 520 per head. Well, the park is maintained very clean. The changerooms, lockers & the toilets in particular are continously cleaned and disinfected.

The dry rides and water rides both are cool. I particularly enjoyed Hurricane, Maverick, WonderSplash, Techno Jump(Don’t miss this, this is real cool), Drop Zone rides. Well, if you are wondering what all thsi means , these rides just turn you upside down, sideways, right left and what not. It is fun guys and so take it, but it is better to be empty stomach for these rides :).

Coming to wet rides, the wave pool is good, they maintain the pool temperature to 28 degrees and so you dont feel cold. The play pool is good too. The coolest thing i liked is the rain dance. It is operated every hour for some time and you can dance in the rain(artificial shower) with music. It’s funa ndwe enjoyed it.

The food is reasonably priced . Very comparable to prices in blore restaurants. After lunch, we went to Cine Magic(a 3D movie theatre). This folks is real cool, do not miss this. it is hard to explain the movie , you just have to experience it. It is a simulation seat entertainment. 
The musical fountain & Lasr show was excellent and we really enjoyed it. After which we took a few snaps and then left having spent a nice day out in the sun.
Also the staff are very polite and friendly. I did not find them rude/talkative/lazy which is rare in such places.
