For weeks I searched the major search engines for an audio player for my computer that was two things: 1) FREE, and 2) EASY and EFFECTIVE! Well the only results I got were me ending up pissed off at the countless companies luring me to their sites by making me think they had what I wanted. What is worst was the sites that gave you irritating pop ups and almost ended up kicking me offline. Doesn’t everyone hate that? I know I do, that why I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I came across winamp.com. Winamp was simple, strait foward, and most of all... FREE! It features great options like downloadable faceplate skins, some really cool plugins to watch when you have nothing better to do, and my favorite: the programable playlist. Although above all, winamp has a feature that makes my mp3 listening very easy. You can make it so the winamp window always stays up at the top in a small bar, so it’s not in your way but you can still see what’s playing and you can still change the track. The winamp website is extremely helpful and instructional, allowing easy access to free downloads for the winamp program. I give winamp.com 2 thumbs up and a couple of toes (now thats good!).
