I booked a service appointment with Whitefield Honda for my Honda City for Thursday(24th April, 2014). When I took my car to the service center the manager said that they are overbooked and asked me to take my car to their body shop workshop another 3-5 kms from the KR Puram service center. I refused to do so since I had a prior appointment.


But the manager had no courtesy to request me or ask me to rebook for some other day, instead he was blunt in saying, "today we have even closed our gates as we are overbooked, pls go to the other center if you want the car to be serviced today." Disgruntled I re-booked for Friday(25th April, 2014). It was the most horrible service related experience of my life.


On Friday, after I reached the service center, I was asked to wait in the customer lounge till someone addresses me. I requested for the service advisor who always does my car(Mr Manjunath KV). The service manager also named Manjunath refused saying that since he is occupied with other cars someone else will be allocated. I said fine, but let me just explain it to Mr Manjunath KV and then you can allot it to anyone. Refused again.


There was another incident which I shall refrain from putting it down here at this moment.


The argument continued and the manager said " Sir, we cannot service your car as you are not a satisfied customer, and therefore we will not service your car". What I read of this statement is that -Since you don't accept whatever we do to your car or say(majorly incomplete work and also explanation for that incompletion), we are not interested in wasting(WASTING) our time on your car. I asked again for the explanation, but they could not make me understand what my dis-satisfaction levels were. and if I was dissatisfied isn't it the job of the manager to address my issues and convert me into a satisfied customer. Despite not being satisfied on some of the aspects of their service I have given moderate-good reviews considering the jobs of those ppl in mind.


I just walked out of the service center and have complained to the Honda Customer Care 121. Let me see how the Honda guys respond and if the Whitefield Honda guys can come up with any explanation and change in their service orientation both towards the customer and the car.
