Whitefield Honda, the first Honda dealer in Bangalore has two companies.
1) Whitefield Honda- Sales and Service building near the K.R.Puram-ORR Flyover
2) Whitefield Honda -Bodyshop near the Bridge Metropolis on the KRPuram road to Whitefield
The Sales and Service division is a very nice place to do business. The staff is properly trained, very clean(dont spoil your upholstery with grease or dirt) and courteous. They also have good timeliness in delivery in addition to the quality of work whether it is painting or labour.
However, the impressions of the Sales & Service should not be mixed with the bodyshop as it is completely the reverse there. I had some very bad experience with them. The quality of the professionals is just bad, they hire fresh ITI passout and put them onto your million rupees vehicle. The quality of the painting is really pathetic, the fixtures of the beading and other sealants was bad. My car boot started leaking in the rains after some fixuture they have done, and similarly the painting was totally uneven since the primer/putty was not properly.
Upon inquiry, I heard that the M.D. of Whitefield Honda treats both as two different companies and the body-shop is fully focused on profitability and not customer satisfaction. The other reason they said that they are not getting cheaper workers and loosing them to Maruti/Tata and other companies. The fresh ITI technican is paid less than Rs10, 000/- per month and they will run off to another place if he gets Rs 2000/- hike or so. Then I asked the service head there whether I am supposed to pay less amount of bill since the technician was inexperienced even-though a bumper painting for Honda is Rs6000/-+ tax whereas for Maruti it is Rs 3000/-. I told him that I do not want to hear such crap since I am paying a premium for the Honda service.
Hence I would like to warn you not to be fooled by the Whitefield Honda brand name while going into the Bodyshop.
