I purchase it from Ghaziabad, Whirlpool brand-shop, Many of shopkeepers tried to convince me not to purchase the RO of whirlpool, I went to Ghaziabad, Whirlpool brand-shop they do not have the available model at shop, but one of sales man confirm me that it is a good product, he take us to their regional office where we saw RO working in live and office(high traffic) environment. Look-wise their fitting was not good.
Although I decided to purchase as with that I do not require storage tank. storage water even in silver tanks would be infected with microorganism within a week. it gives me the feeling that even expensive RO's with storage tank are not safe.
I purchase it for Rs 21000/-, it was available onsite in much less price, but I did not purchase as I do not want to take the risk. The service engineers was also do not know how to install it on kitchen, as they have very-very ugly angle stand for this, vertical one. I told them to place on kitchen slab. I made a horizontal glass top iron stand with 16 screws to fix it, put pre-filter near under sink tap, drain pipe with sink drain.
Now its amazing and with its direct flow, we stopped storing water at all.
Its being 15 days I purchased it, I am fully satisfied with its performance, and its a style icon in our kitchen. Even in future I do not have to worry, when should I change filters, as it will display the icon for the same.
I recommend this product for home use.
(Recommend to use with small power-doc, like sukam ones to save it from power surges)
I am not sure for service yet, may be within one year I may require filter then only I came to knew.
