I bought a brand new Whirlpool Refrigerator(WHIRLPOOL NEO DF278 ROY PLUS -3S/262 LTR) on 2nd Jan2018 from Great Eastern Retail, Rajdanga, Kolkata(warning: they have very bad customer service). It was delivered to us on 4th Jan 2018 and installed on the same day by a technician. We noticed that no cooling was taking place so we informed the technical service of that awful shop and also Whirlpool customer care. The technician came and informed that there was no gas in the BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR. We asked for full refund or replacement with 7 days. The shop with loathsome customer service tried to convince us to get a replacement with another model at a higher price. They were extremely rude when we said'no' to their offer. We then contacted the whirlpool office again for a replacement within 7 days or full refund. They gave us a complaint no. and a local contact person. The local contact person's phone is always busy. Even after repeated phone calls to Whirlpool, no action has been taken except assigning a complaint no. to us. The refrigerator is sitting at our home for last 20 days like a white elephant.
