One question...’’Has anyone ever heard the original broadcast or the album?’’ Yes, I mean album, back in the day when there was any. I was really disappointed with Mr. Speilberg. I really thought he would stay true to the original storyline. Actually, I blame this all on my myself. My eagerness to see this movie brought my memories crashing down on me! Not to say that the movie was not good... it was.. but it was not true to the original radio cast. The acting was good (Dakota Fanning does get a little annoying with all that screaming though) and the special effects were superb! Some parts were super unrealistic. Like the sinking of the ferry and none of main characters dieing, even though they had to hold their breath as long as Tarzan might have had to. Sigh... Even though I was disappointed it had nothing to do with the content of the movie. It was still a good storyline. I just expected it to be the original and who can ever do that? Hope somebody comes along and does Orson Wells justice. Sorry Stephen.
